Overnight Trips

posted in: Home Page News | 0

At Central we like to plan two smaller overnight trips for our graduating students rather than one large one. We do this hoping to offer families more flexibility for pricing, timing and interest level. Our winter trips for the 7s and 8s are in the works and information packages will be coming out within the next few weeks about those. Information for the grade 7 winter trip is below. Grade 8s will be travelling to Ottawa-Gatineau for Winterlude at the start of February. More information will be coming for that in the next few weeks. Our spring trips will be held in June; Grade 7s will have the opportunity to go to Highlands Cinemas on the last day of school and the Grade 8s will have the opportunity to go to Niagara Falls mid-June. We have had to switch tour companies and will be looking at staying at the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark rather than Great Wolf Lodge. This means we’ll be much closer to the attractions and will spend less time on the bus!

Grade 7 trip

The Grade 7 trip this year will be a trip to Camp Muskoka for 3 days and 2 nights. We will be leaving on January 29th and returning on January 31st. The cost will be approximately $305 per student. We are hoping to reduce the cost but that is dependent upon receiving some grants for which we have applied.
