Our grade 7s are off to Kinmount today and most of our 8s have chosen to stay home and rest up from last night’s awesome graduation celebration. Huge thanks go out to Miss Butcher and Mrs. Crowe for spearheading the decorations, to Mrs. Shauf and Mrs. MacEachern for ensuring the night ran smoothly, to Mrs. Cummings and Ms. Jones for their work behind the scenes: ordering the awards, creating the programs, organizing all of the certificates and ordering the gowns. Thanks to Mrs. Elford and Ms. Brooks for their work organizing the tasty treats. Our custodial staff also deserve thanks for helping with set up and clean up.
You can view the slideshow of the graduates here in case you missed it.
If you have not yet purchased a yearbook and would like to, you can bring cash to the school today and Mme Steffler will make sure you get a yearbook.
If you were unable to attend graduation last night, you can stop by the office and Mrs. Cummings will have your child’s diploma and report card.
Grade 7 report cards will be handed out at the end of the day. Any remaining report cards will be mailed at the end of next week. Our office staff is working next week, you can call and arrange a time to pick up any paperwork you may need.
As we wrap up the school year, we want to thank you, the parents of our students, for supporting Central Senior. We know you always want the best for your children and support us how you can. Thank you to our Parent Council for their work organizing fundraisers and events. A lot of their work happens behind the scenes and Central would not look the same without them.
We look forward to September when we greet a our new students and welcome back our returning students.
From all of us at Central Senior, we want to wish everyone a safe and happy summer holiday.
