Learning @ Home Feedback

posted in: Home Page News | 0

As we wrap up our second week of Learning @ Home, we are so thankful to all of you for your support and willingness to work to develop a system of learning in these very interesting times.

We would like to hear from you regarding the Learning @ Home program and ask that you take a few minutes to participate in a survey. Answers will help us to determine how Learning @ Home is developing and will allow us to make any needed changes. The survey is anonymous and you can find the survey at https://forms.gle/3wDhQHfkiBLiLr7Z8

We have not been given any indications whether attending school within the school building will resume this year or not. It’s a wait and see situation.

At this time our school building is closed to us. We have only been given very stringent permission to retrieve essential technology that students require to participate in the Learning @ Home initiative. Unfortunately we are unable, at this time, to enter the building to retrieve items from lockers.

Many of you have wondered what Grade 8 Graduation may look like given the restrictions that may be in place in June. We are waiting to see whether school will resume this year and under what conditions. We believe that it is important for us to celebrate the accomplishments of our Grade 8 cohort. Currently we are planning for a variety of scenarios and once we have a firmer idea of what June will bring , we will roll out our plans to you.

Thank you again for your flexibility and patience during this time. Please reach out and let us know of any needs to you have. We want to support our students and their families as much as possible. We miss each other and are looking forward to the time we can meet in person again.
