Greetings from IE Weldon Secondary School!
As we welcome the beginning of the holiday season, there is added excitement for Grade 8 students and families in anticipation of the move to high school next fall. To this end, we are pleased to invite Grade 8 families to attend an In-Person Power Pack Information Session. Power Pack is a challenging academic program focused on the development of strong academic skills, successful work habits and the values of internationalism. The presentation will provide detailed information about our Power Pack and IB Programmes and will outline next steps if you are interested in attending Weldon as a Power Pack student next year.
We will be hosting two information sessions in the new year; the first will be held on Wednesday 18 January and the second, on Thursday 2 February as part of our Grade 8 Open House. The January 18th session will begin promptly at 7pm and last approximately 90 minutes in length. The session hosted during the Grade 8 Open House will begin following a general welcome from our administration and student services staff. At both sessions, IB Programme staff and students will be available to answer questions at the end of each session.
