BGC Kawartha Lakes – Youth Advisory Council

The Youth Advisory Council is a fantastic platform for young people to voice their opinions, develop leadership skills, and engage with their community. We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate youth who want to make a difference and contribute to the council and positively impact the community. Individuals that want to apply need only be residents of Kawartha Lakes and between grades 7-12. Additionally, through the Youth Advisory Council youth will receive volunteer hours, incentives and a great reference for future opportunities. Please check out their website for more information.

Summer break information

All school buildings will be closed to the public for the summer break beginning Monday, July 7, reopening on Tuesday, August 26.

Beginning the week of July 14, the TLDSB Lindsay Education Centres is open to the public Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Muskoka Education Centre is closed to the public over the break.

The first day of school for both elementary and secondary students is Wednesday, September 3. Note, Kindergarten students will have a staggered start.
