Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) recently celebrated students and their artistic talents through the second annual Better Together Arts Showcase.
Through various mediums of visual and/or performative arts, students worked individually or collaboratively in a pair, small group, or whole class to create a piece of art that was based around the idea that we all are connected. From these submissions, a broad collection of pieces were selected to be on display at the region showcases which took place in each region of the Board – the City of Kawartha Lakes showcase took place on May 7 at I.E. Weldon Secondary School, the Muskoka showcase on May 13 at the TLDSB Muskoka Education Centre, and the Haliburton showcase on May 14 at the Fleming College, Haliburton Campus.
Congratulations to all of the students and staff, and thank you to all of the families who came out to celebrate the achievements of the artists!
